Sapporo

You spoke to my heart.
It gave me a spark.
That fresh new start,
I’ve been searching deeply for.
I’m thankful that you arrived at my deserted shore.
Where everyone once were.
I’ve lost track on how to come back.
But you’re slowly bringing back.
Keeping me straight on track.
I hope you know it’s all because of you.
I might be done being this fool.
I’ll be the sun,
and if you prefer,
I hope you’d be my moon.

  1. So romantic! I always read your poems and I think you write very well. I hope you find what you’re looking for.
