Words On Empty Ears

Last night,
I slept on these dark streets.
This west coast breeze,
Definitely made me freeze.
Life feels like it’s just falling apart.
I don’t know how to get out of this.
Or where to even start.
And if I leave this world.
Did I even leave my mark.
Will you remember me?
Will anyone remember me?

  1. I would remember you but hold your horses because you’re not going anywhere. Otherwise, beautiful prose, it’s vulnerable. Vulnerable is a true gift.

  2. Every soul, every thought, matters. Don’t you doubt it. Each breath you take affects someone’s existence. Your words can make a difference to a single being. Your thoughts are powerful. Hang in there. I will if you will. I just keep hoping “the mothership” shows up soon. 😉

  3. Those words on empty ears? For sure on empty human ears. But on high? The Almighty Creator of our beings’ ears are quite attuned to your demise. Open your own ears and you’ll hear that mighty sound of His voice in bliss. 🙂

  5. Since you have started this blog and people have read it, you have had an influence. Regardless of how small, I am sure the ripples will continue until the end of the universe. If I went into detail, this post will go on too long, but what I mean to say is, keep it up if you would like to make bigger ripples! It’s already started, kind of like when you try to make waves in your swimming pool (not sure if you’ve tried lol).
