Let me take a step back,
let me pretend that you are still here.
Cast a curse on me,
and utter those words I’d wished to hear.
Words that wound up into wedding chimes.
Take me back to the time of summer where we swore we were each others.
But reality turns to truth,
truth to reality,
Eyes submerged under a body of tears.
Our greatest fears have finally come to be.
The time and place where it’s not considered you and me.
