Stand Up To Injustice, Don’t Blink An Eye At Someone Who is Hurt

I wrote a short note.
To a person I hardly know.
A mere acquaintance.
Just so she knows,
that she isn’t alone.

    • Some people laugh at me for doing this (is actually really occurring), but I let those laughs roll over me. We all have a voice, we all need to be there for each other. This piece of inspiration to that one person, I know will affect them for the better. And that’s enough.

  1. I get this. I have behaved in similar fashion with people, just extending yourself beyond what most do, and it is perceived with a laugh or even as a flirt of sorts. Caring and kindness are SO under appreciated or understood. Good for you for continuing despite the looks, comments, or presumptions. I push myself to do the same.
