California Rain

I’ll throw it all away,
keep these memories locked and caged.
Winter to fall,
we use to have it all.
As seconds turn to minutes,
as light fades to darkness,
as love morphed to spite,
we drifted on paths we both felt was right.
But the times we had,
still today,
knock on my mind’s door.

  1. Very nice!! Loved the lines – “But the times we had,
    still today,
knock on my mind’s door.” Really great imagery of what memories do. I have the same problem “kind of reminds me of “Sheldon’s knocking on doors from “The Big Bang Theory””. Often and persistent at times. Loved this post. And your blog site name.
